New Year, New Me, Same ME!

So, it's been almost a whole year since I've blogged about my weight loss journey.
And since my last blog, it's had its up's and down's like any journey.

I ended up being as low as 160 lbs, but life hit hard the last 3 months. And naturally I've gained some of that weight back.

I wouldn't say that this is about a new me journey this time, because I know who I am, and I know exactly what I am capable of.
But, I would say that I'm back on track to better myself so I can become the best version of me.

This time around, I've joined an actual gym. A gym that I love!
I know exactly what I need to do nutrition wise.
But now that I have more tools and resources at my fingertips, I have to figure out how to utilize them.

I've found some online programs that state what exercises I need to do, and I think that I will be following it.
I'm not 100% sure, but its something that I'm willing to try.

In the past, the most of a program that I have followed, was Turbo Fire, or attempted to follow with Insanity.
But I feel comfortable here at this gym so I'm not afraid to try new exercises.

I've already started to prep my nutrition for the week.
I've planned that I'll have 2 protein shakes a day, and one meal.

Because I can't quite make a shake at work, I will have my one meal as my lunch.
This week, I've made chicken fajitas.
Its 1 whole wheat tortilla, 1/2 of fajita chicken mix (chicken and peppers) 1 tbsp of salsa, and 1 tbsp of plain greek yogurt. Along with 1 serving of vegetables.

I have plenty of health snacks on hand so if I need something to snack on I won't feel guilty.

I'm absolutely determined to reach my fitness/weight loss goal by my birthday and I have a feeling that it just might be doable.
I've come a long way from where I started last year. But I'm only half way there.
