So.... it came down to this..... After having a GLORIOUS night out on the town and indulging in foods and drinks that I've stayed away from for well over a month it was weigh in day... I gained. Not much though, I am currently sitting at 199.4lbs. I'm not happy that I gained, but at least I didn't gain too much. This week my parents also went away on vacation so it was really nice to be able to have the house primarily to myself. I was able to workout with Insanity in the living room and then do my run on the treadmill downstairs in the basement. One thing that I was noticing this week is that I was able to run about 3.45-.55 miles within a minute. I'm pretty impressed with that. AND!!! I was able to run, non stop for one whole mile!! If you ask me, I would call this a fitness milestone :) But this week was quite off for me. I had hardly any appetite, and I had to force myself to eat from time to time. Something that I was really happy about, was bei...

Week 6 (Feb 9, 2015 - Feb 15, 2015)

It's OFFICIAL!!!! I'm back down to ONE -derland!!!!! I weighed in on Monday at 198.9lbs . Its an amazing feeling to be able to be back down in the 100's. I'd love to be down to 189 by St. Patrick's Day (next month). I'd love it even more if I can get there before then though! I tried to use the gym at the college on Monday. It was a bit overwhelming since I've never had a gym membership. I've never done the gym thing. When I was in the CG, I just stuck with the treadmills and such. I never touched the weights because they were a bit scary. They still are to me. And it's not because I don't want to use them. I do! I just don't know how to. And if you know me, you know I'm stubborn and will refuse to ask for help. But I did what I could in the gym. On Tuesday, my son had a school event that evening. While I was there with my parents. My mother looked away from me, and then couldn't find me. She didn't recognize me...

Week 5 (Feb 2, 2015 - Feb 8, 2015)

This was my first FULL official week of being back to school. It was quite difficult learning how to juggle school work, home life, health life, and a mild social life. I think I had a few minor breakdowns from being overwhelmed with well, life. But I survived!! I started off the week weighing in at 202.7 lbs!! I'm so close this week to tasting under 200 that itsn't even funny! Learning how to squeeze in my workouts with my massive amounts of homework and study time was quite the challenge for me. It's been about 2 years since I have gone back to school, and I always put 100% into everything that I do. One of the difficult things that I found for going back to school is eating. I had to learn some self restraint when it came to what I was eating between classes. There were many days when I would just pack my almonds and an apple to bring for me to eat since I didn't trust myself to eat the cafe food. This along with getting myself on a steady schedule...

Week 4 (Jan 26, 2015 - Feb 1, 2015)

So, in my last post I showed how I lost a surprising number of inches. Come Monday morning I was fully ready to see the scale! After all I worked out double time!! When I stepped on the scale I was completely shocked to see it read: 209.3lbs I gained 0.4lbs. HOW WAS THIS POSSIBLE?!?! I will admit I was quite devistated. Many friends said that its because I was gaining muscle.  But truth is, when you have this much fat to lose the scale won't have you gaining muscle. You'll be losing.  At least thats how it is for now. I was kind of in a funk all week because of that, along with other personal news, and the snow storm that we were hit with. On top of that, I started back up at school this week too! My body was thrown for a loop with the new schedule change. But it was decided that this week I was going to give the military diet a try. The military diet claims that it can help you lose up to 10 lbs in just 3 days. But you have to follow their EXACT meal plan...
