Week 4 (Jan 26, 2015 - Feb 1, 2015)

So, in my last post I showed how I lost a surprising number of inches.
Come Monday morning I was fully ready to see the scale! After all I worked out double time!!

When I stepped on the scale I was completely shocked to see it read:
209.3lbs

I gained 0.4lbs.

HOW WAS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!

I will admit I was quite devistated. Many friends said that its because I was gaining muscle.  But truth is, when you have this much fat to lose the scale won't have you gaining muscle. You'll be losing.  At least thats how it is for now.

I was kind of in a funk all week because of that, along with other personal news, and the snow storm that we were hit with.
On top of that, I started back up at school this week too!

My body was thrown for a loop with the new schedule change.

But it was decided that this week I was going to give the military diet a try.

The military diet claims that it can help you lose up to 10 lbs in just 3 days.
But you have to follow their EXACT meal plan.
I was completely excited to eat peanut butter one day, toast, crackers, and the best part..... was the bit of ice cream at night!!!!
OOOOOOOH BOOOY!!!!

The breakdown of this diet is that the specific foods they have you eat are supposed to help break down the fat cells in your own body. I figured that I would give this a shot. I mean what did I have to lose since I already gained 0.4lbs this week.

I didn't really start to eat my meals till later in the morning or the early afternoon. Which helped because these portions are so tiny that you will be hungry before your last bite.

But I think I did really well with this. It wasn't hard to follow and the thought of ice cream made eating tuna a walk in the park!!

This was without a doubt a difficult week for me. And I know that it's natural to have good weeks and bad weeks. I just need to not take it too personal and to remind myself to get back up on that wagon.
