Week 3 (Jan 19, 2015 - Jan 25, 2015)
Monday:
All week long I count every calorie that enters my body, I cut every carb, starch and sugar that I can from my diet. As well as work out 6 days a week for 1 hour.
Last week I weighed in at 211.8 this week.....
208.9 lbs!
I'll be honest the 2.9 lb weight loss is a bit disheartening after last weeks 12.6 lb.
I've busted my butt in every way possible to lose as much as I can. I've subjected myself to taking 1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar after EVERY meal and snack. And trust me, I HATE this stuff!
I've inquired about frequent flyer miles for all my various trips to the bathroom since I drink about a gallon of water every day. But I was told that all I could obtain is a nice collection of toilet paper cardboard tubes.
I should figure out a craft off pintrest with them....
Tuesday:
I didn't make it to class because I didn't get much sleep the night before. So, instead I did 3 miles just shy of 1 hour. I really pushed myself this day. I'm not a runner by any means. I have short, thick, stubby legs that don't really move all that fast. But I was really happy with my time. I think I averaged about a 17 minute mile. Which for me, the critically acclaimed couch potato, is pretty good! In the summer of 2013 I was able to run about an 8-10 minute mile. Thats my goal to get up to! And I know with time I will be able to get there again.
Wednesday:
Now since I missed my class the day before I made sure that I went to class this day.
Not only did I do my hour of boot camp, but when I was in class I pushed myself so hard that I actually got sick. Which to me is great!
Gross, but great!
When I came home, I had something to eat and then got on the treadmill for a half hour.
Now I pushed myself to as hard as I could go, but at this point my body was exhausted and just wanted a shower and a nap, so it took me about 19-18 minutes to do a mile. But I was able to do about a mile and a half in 30 minutes.
Thursday:
Again, I had boot camp, and then did my extra half hour on the treadmill.
Even though I didn't want to because I wasn't feeling all that well, I still did it. But made sure I took NyQuil before bed.
Friday:
OOOOOh friday.... Friday was a zombie day.
Yup... a zombie day.
I was so out of it from my NyQuil that it was hell trying to get up to take my son to school. I was given the car to go to class that morning (yay!) so I figured I had about 15 minutes to put my head back on the pillow to try and get out of this medicated fog.
I was soo sooo sooo wrong.
I ended up sleeping all the way till my alarm went off to go get my son from school.
YIKES!!
I felt horrible. I really did.
But with some coaxing, I ended up making it to the last class for the evening. The 8pm class.
And I was pretty happy that I did.
And then I did another 30 minutes on the treadmill. This time, I did about a 17 minute mile again.
Saturday:
By Saturday my knees are shot. I really shouldn't be running on them like this every day. The harsh impact is not good. And I already have tender knees.
Add in my excessive weight and, well I tend to be in pain for weeks.
So I power walked for an hour. And while I may not have been running, my walk was at such a fast pace that I surely was sweating.
Sunday:
Sunday is always my rest day, but I followed a few Youtube videos on how to give yourself a natural tummy tuck from exercises, and for a natural butt lift.
Now these weren't extensive workouts, but my arms sure did shake, and my core did tremble.
All in all I'd say it was a productive week!
I start school back up on Wednesday so my workout schedule and eating schedule will be changed. And we are supposed to get a wicked blizzard the next two days. I don't know how often because of the weather and school that I will be able to go to my boot camp class, which bites because I really like it!
This week I've noticed that I have a favorite breakfast of the two that I interchange.
I can have an egg white omelet with mushrooms, peppers and salsa, or!!! I can do a 1/2 cup of scrambled egg whites with a 1/2 cup of oatmeal with half a banana cut up in it.
I love my oatmeal and banana!!! Its what I look forward to every morning! And then its ruined by the dreaded ACV. But I feel quite full, and especially since its so cold, it keeps my bones warm.
Onto my weekly comparison!!

I can't believe that tomorrow I already start week 4!!!
