Weeks 10 and 11 (March 9, 2015 - March 22, 2015)

So life happened and I didn't get the chance to type up my blog for last week. I know... shoot me now!  I'd like to say that it will never happen again, but I will never make a promise that I cannot keep. Naturally I do not have the measurements from last week. But on Monday March 9, 2015 I weighed in at 190.2 lbs!!! On Monday March 16, 2015 I weighed in at 185.9 lbs !! I have lost a total of 38.5 lbs !! I am sooo close to the finish line for this 90 day challenge, and I am sooo close to hitting the 40 lb mark. Tuesday was Saint Patrick's Day, my CHEAT day! Goodness gracious was I looking forward to it! I had corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and Irish soda bread for dinner! I look forward to this meal all year round. The whole thing! Minus the carrots because I'm really not a fan of cooked carrots. And later that night I was going out to have a few beers!!! EEEEKKK!!!!!  I missed my beer sooo much! Week 9 (March 2, 2015 - March 8, 2015)

So, even after this weekends trip to Hell, I mean Florida and back I weighed in at 194.5 lbs!! I guess the road trip didn't mess me up too much after all! I'm so close to getting down to 190 I can almost taste it! I'm also so close to hitting that 30 lb mark too! While this week I didn't give myself a running challenge, I did however average about 3.75 miles an hour for this week. This was a very difficult week for me hormonally. I'm never this bad, but I can only assume that its because my body is so used to producing "X" amount of hormones for my size.  But with me losing weight I think I produced too much and it really got to me. Luckily, I'm a woman of logic (or so I like to believe) and I tried my best to rationalize my feelings and warned all souls that came across my path if I started to act irrational. This was also difficult for me, because on Saturday (March 7th) we celebrated my best friend's birthday at our normal Saturday N...

Week 8 (Feb 23, 2015 - March 1, 2015)

I was sick with a nasty cold over the weekend so I'm pretty happy that I was able to lose weight. I'm currently at 197 lbs!! Monday I started off with my 20 mile run challenge. I completed 7 miles out of the 20 and I did it in 1 hour and 18 minutes. Not bad for the first time I have ever done 7 miles before!!! I averaged a 16 and change minute mile. Tuesday I did 5 miles within 81 minutes. Again I averaged a 16 and change minute mile. Wednesday I did 5 miles within 84 minutes. I gained a few minutes here, and while in the big scheme of things its not horrible, but a few extra minutes in the police academy will pass or fail you. Thursday I did 3 miles in 52 minutes. This was when my legs were really starting to feel the effects of the previous days' runs. But Thursday was a big day for me. My partner in crime and I headed down to Florida to go pick up my son from his 2 week trip visiting his father. It was a very long and tedious drive. We left at 12:00am Frida...
